Introducing...

Audrey Kate Jensen!
Isn't she a beauty?

After an hour and forty-five minutes of pushing, baby J made her great escape from the womb. Cami did so well, according to the nurses and Kevin. And, she looked great afterwords!

She's Here!

Kevin texted us at 5:54 announcing that Baby J has been born! So we're still in the waiting room... waiting for the OK to meet her...

I'll put up the details when I find them out! :)

"She's Ready To Start Pushing"

When asked about how she felt when she received this news... This is what Cami said:

"I'm numb. A little anxious, obviously-- about meeting my daughter. Excited. Numb. A little nauseous, actually. Anxious... This is very... I still can't believe we're here. Excited. Overwhelmed... what now? Hoping it will all go smoothly. This is mind-boggling. But I'm very excited. Excited to eat- I'm hungry. I can't feel anything. Oh, I would never do it any other way than with an epidural!"

Here we go...

"Up The Epidural... I'm feeling something!"

This whole epidural thing has been absolutely fabulous. Cami got this heavenly anesthesia around ten this morning and it has been holding up great till just the last little bit, there has been a bit of pressure being *gasp* felt. So the anesthesiologist came in and upped the dose. She is feeling great now. When asked if she wanted to shift in her bed or move at all, she said,
"I'm good. This is a happy place"
&
"Yeah, I'm tingly all over"

Thank goodness for modern-day medicine!

Here's us, waiting:
Here's Daddy, waiting patiently to meet his darling daughter.

And Grandma, covering up with the blanket. It's freezing in this room... but our birthing champion, having always been hot pre-pregnancy has become a furnace in her delicate condition. so she is loving these sub-arctic temperatures!

At 8 centimeters, it won't be long...

Chillin' In The Hospital

This is what it looks like outside... The beautiful "popcorn" trees are blooming, but they blend into the grey sky, foggy atmosphere, and rained-on streets. It's a beautiful rainy March afternoon in Plano, Texas!

This is what it looks like inside:

We're just chillin' in the hospital room, watching Father of the Bride II (that's the one where Annie Banks and Nina Banks are pregnant.) Yeah, we thought it was pretty fitting. Theme appropriate!

Here is the work-a-holic mommy-to-be sending out Newport's financial report on my computer. She's so good at multi-tasking- especially with the epidural :)

Doesn't she look great? She's so excited!!

The happy couple already thrilled about apparent joys of parenthood!

Grandma and Grandpa LeSueur with their baby who's having a baby! They're pretty excited too :)

It has just been killing Trevor that he had to be at school while we're sitting at the hospital watching the contraction moniter go up and down while Cami is watching a movie. This is what he texted us in a final plea of despiration to skip school. It didn't work.

As of 1:00, Cami is 5-6 centimeters dialated.

This baby's-a-coming!

Baby J

Baby J is on her way!

Cami started having contractions at 3:30 this morning and around 6:00 in the am, she went into the hospital. The doctor broke her water, and she went from one centimeter to three in an hour. We're on our way to Plano Presbyterian Hospital right now.

I'm going to be an aunt!!!

Tag! You're it...

My friend Brittany tagged me, so this is what I did: I went into the the sixth picture file on my computer and found the sixth picture in that folder. Here's what I found---

This is one of my very favorite pictures ever!! This was taken on the 24th of March 2006 in front of Serena's house. It was Paris' birthday, and we were about to get into the limo to go to the Fall Out Boy/All American Rejects concert. In and of itself, that is enough to make it a really good picture- but what makes it my favorite picture is that this is the day I met Lance. This is our first picture together, and that makes me love it! You'll notice that we're standing next to each other, and that was no accident! I made sure I was standing next to the cute boy that I didn't know, and I found out later that he did the same thing- but he stood next to the cute girl he didn't know!

I tag Kevin & Cam, Mom & Dad, Patrick & Michelle, Spencer & Ashley, and Jared & Melissa! Let's see the sixth picture in the sixth folder of your computer- enjoy this stroll down memory lane. Try it... You'll like it! :)
